POLITICAL COMPASS TEST: Thanks to Sgt. Stryker for the link.
BOY, AM I SURPRISED!: AL MUKALLA, Yemen — A fiery explosion aboard a French oil tanker in the Arabian Sea resulted from an attack on the ship, U.S. and French officials concluded Thursday. The Americans said it was an act of terrorism most likely carried out by people with links to Al Qaeda.
NICE CHANGE OF PACE: From "The Corner", Muslims For The American Way.
NEO-RACIST GROUPS: Alive and flourishing on our campuses, are groups like this. When are we going to wake up and smell the coffee? When are we going to start condemning all racism? Can you imagine if this were a group of Jews or Whites? You can check out this group to see what some people are doing about it. Wednesday, October 09, 2002
FROM KEL: She'd like to thank everyone for all the good thoughts that have been sent her way.
RANDOMNESS: A few things caught my attention today. So, in no particular order, here we go! And they say we're a police state! When was the last time an author went on trial on our country for writing a book? France is special! They have TWO authors on trial! Couldn't happen to a nicer person! CNN "Girl Reporter", Christiane Amanpour, has been banned from Iran and Iraq. Awwww, po ting! Too bad we can't ban her from here! But we'd have to live in France to do that. Things that make you say, "DUH!" US mulls blacklisting Saudis on religion. Colin Powell is a real man, and Harry Belafonte should be ashamed of himself! I may not agree with General Powell all the time, but I admire him a great deal and think he's a great role model for anyone. Oh, no, Saddam isn't being a bad man over in Iraq! Saddam acquiring technology for 'long-range supergun' And a last random thought... why do "celebrities" think I care? If I hear one more mewling word out of the likes of Barbara Streisand, Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon, Alec Baldwin, or Harry Belafonte, I think I will blow a frelling gasket! ARGH!
IF YOU READ ONE THING TODAY Tuesday, October 08, 2002
ISN'T IT INTERESTING? * How much media coverage Barbara Streisand got for opposing war with Iraq, and how little Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg got? * How intolerant the supposed "Religion of Peace" is to dissenting voices from their own? Case in point, the Somali immigrant to Holland who had the audacity to question Islam's treatment of women on a TV program there. She's now in hiding after numerous death threats. * How worried the Liberal Left is over the erosion of our Constitutional Freedoms? (except, of course, the freedom to bear arms and the freedom to practice Christian Religion.) Sunday, October 06, 2002
